When coming up with the name and design for what eventually became Lucky Red Bag, I had one thing in mind. Chinese people traditionally give little red envelopes with money inside as a blessing for good fortune and prosperity. Since the site was created to offer unique Asian gifts and good luck charms, the logo also had to convey this sense of Chinese cheer and well-wishing. I came up with a couple of designs, but in the end, and it's the first one displayed here, I made a handful of Chinese coins "falling" into the Lucky Red Bag text. It represents good fortune falling from the heavens, and a lucky red bag to "catch" it all up.
