Lucky Red Bag was my first ecommerce project and a tremendous learning experience for me. The Volusion system provided a ready-to-use ecommerce site off the line, but I first had to learn the limitations of branding a hosted solution where at least a few things were beyond my reach. Certain elements of the page, like borders around products and positioning of servlets, were hard-coded and therefore had to be designed around. I had a certain idea of what I wanted the site to be, and this final design was only slightly different from what I imagined.
