After my probationary period at Square Enix, I began to offer my services to the department I worked in, and they agreed to let me redo the department intranet site. Before I touched it, the intranet site was nothing more than a simple page that posted daily announcements. Since it was simply called the QA Intranet, I unceremoniously named the update version 2.0. After giving it a complete facelift, I added a project calendar to track project schedules up to eight months in advance, a resource library that contained many first and third party guidelines, and an RSS news reader.
